Un Film Fraçais

I watched a French movie over at Ali's place one night. It was titled "36 Quai des Orfèvres" which is the address of one of the most famous police judicial buildings in Paris.

Génial.

I will not reveal the storyline here. What was good about this movie was the cinematography. It was not explosive or filled with a lot of typical American police action. It is somewhat more calm and collected, more artistic. Almost every scene had music playing in the background to supply the mood. Plus the language made it so stylo milo. I give it 4.5/5 for it.

Foreign films are quite interesting. Some that were really good was "Children of Heaven" and "Helen the Baby Fox". It can give you this expression on your face. :')

Haha and godspeed to you!

Dan and i love to watch foreign films, and used to go to The Arts House a lot because they have foreign films screening every month. The next one i wanna watch is called "Delicatessan" - can't remember, but think it is French - has a picture of a porky pig at the front of the DVD...looks interesting... if i can get hold of it we can all watch!

To kathryn: That's cool! Do they still show foreign films? I highly recommend "Children of Heaven". Though it is the same as "Homerun", the Iranian version one kicks ass.

Yea, watching together sounds fun! Haha! :D
